Software Programmer

This role will support in developing database and linkage for our company In-House Inventory system.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Develop programme for a Steel Building Manufacturing company involving Raw Materials, Finished products quantities and its Cost and Selling price

2.    Develop database for the inventory, which will help in establishing forecast & purchase of inventory on monthly basis

3.    Create a link between all three Database for generating Management reports

4.    Develop NPCS (Nova Production Cost System), involving:

• Capturing of job details with its Status (For Approval, Out for Approval, Under Revision, Cleared for Detailing, Cleared for Fabrication, On Hold, Cancelled)
• Engineering Drawings Schedules
• Shop Drawings Schedules
• Fabrication Schedules
• Production Schedules
• Tentative Shipment Schedules
• Produced but not Shipped Schedules

5.    End User support

6.    Work with respective system stakeholders on enhancements and improvement on IT operation stability

7.    Assist in ad-hoc assignment required by the Management from time to time

Skill Competencies and Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computing/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience
• Expert in any programming language, in particular programming that can be deployed on cloud-based systems, or Advance Visual Basic/ Oracle (Data Management)
• Experienced in managing security on cloud IS systems
• Strong communication and organization skills, able to work well independently
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, attention to details
