By 2019, analysts in ASEAN have reported that solar power is set to surge as costs drop below natural-gas generation. This region’s cumulative solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity was estimated to triple by 2024 to 35.8 gigawatts (GW), up from 12.6 GW in 2019.

However, in 2020, it was observed a lack of awareness about the potential benefits of renewable energy has resulted in minimal uptake of renewable energy technologies, and this is particularly evident amongst land and building owners and industrial players.

Nova Buildings has started to work with solar solution partners with a presence in southeast Asia to introduce the Solar Roof solution to customers. Our solution partners will bring customers through details of the solution, and different financing or investment options including the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
